Job Description

Position Summary:
Looking for an Online Editor to be responsible for the proper delivery of on-air content.

Functions and Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Online Coordinator to ensure that materials are being prepared effectively for the online process.
Check delivered media from Color, Mix, and GFX teams against reference to ensure that the creative is intact.
Review delivery guides and technical specifications for each of the networks.
Production of domestic and international versions of all shows and series.
Final quality control (QC) of all outgoing media and shows, including tech and legal reviews.
Ingest and regroup all of the components of online process and conducting reviews with the Post Supervisors.
Produce the HD-Cams for all required deliveries.
Uploading and delivering final elements for all shows via file transfer protocols.
Oversee the final wrap and archive of all online deliverables.

Candidates should possess:
At least (1) year of Post experience in Reality or Docudrama genre.
At least (3) years experience working with Avid Media Composer in a shared storage environment.
Working knowledge of codecs, file delivery methods, and FTP softwares.
Working knowledge of Closed Captioning softwares.
Online experience required.
Color Correction experience a plus.
