Job Description

Film Content & Social Media Specialist

Based out of Santa Monica, StudioBinder is film technology startup that is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and hard working social media specialist and content producer to join us on a contract basis.

As a Content & Social Media specialist, you will be a big part of our small team. You will be responsible for proofing blog content and executing a social media strategy that engages consumers. You will own day-to-day management of all content and social media platforms, including planning, scheduling, posting, and analyzing all social content. We are seeking candidates who live and breathe social media.

Since this is a fast-moving startup, you’ll be wearing a lot of hats and learning a tremendous amount on the job. Your focus will primarily be on content proofing, creation, and promotion.

At least some filmmaking experience is required.

Responsibilities:
Content writing about filmmaking/producing
Proofing pre-written content for grammar and accuracy
Injecting SEO keywords into content
Adding posts to Wordpress
Creating images in Photoshop or Sketch
Write newsletter content

Qualifications:
Filmmaking experience. You’ll need to be comfortable writing/proofing content about talent and crew management, script breakdowns, scheduling, call sheets, film agreements, etc.
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Passion for both film, writing and technology.

Brownie Points for:
SEO knowledge
Experience creating and promoting content
Design skills (Photoshop, Sketch, Canva, etc)

Job Type:
Part-time contract. $15/h
