The Luzhin Defence (Scene Re-Score)
When presented with this Luzhin Defence clip (and all the background info on the characters and storyline), I felt I had the chance to compose the sequence as if it were a part of a whole score.

Cool As Ice
This is a YouTube ad for a company that specialises in video content for luxury brands - One Globe Studios. I knew what I wanted to do as soon as they pitched me the idea, which was to make a beautiful video about ice melting and turn something considered boring into a delightful experience.
Vodafone - Happy Mother's Day
A music box cover of "Go Go Go" by Panic is Perfect for Vodafone Portugal in celebration of Mother's Day.
The Art of Change Shorts: Social Action / Knives Down, Bikes Up by Matt Dempsey
Director Matt Dempsey presents a beautiful and poignant film in response to the knife violence epidemic that has been crippling London. Meet some of the young men who have been personally affected by knife crime and created a grassroots social action project, Knives Down, Bikes Up, to break down barriers of neighbourhoods and creating a community around cycling in London.
Strongbow "Archer" (re-score)
After a few years working for advertising, I was thrilled to be able to compose for one without any restraints or reference music. Still, my goal was to make it look professional and 'commercial' enough. First I thought about the space where it takes action, and what was the best way to depict the desert atmosphere combined with the heroic-like character of this ad.
Nuit Blanche (re-score)
I found voice to be the most interesting instrument to stretch over time, just because of its human quality and how it would sound without stops or any breaths. As in the film, I wanted to create the transition between the normal and slow motion pace.

ENTER THE VOID (Scene Re-Score)
(This is academic work. I do not own the rights to this feature). This clip is a ten minutes fluid sound-morphing voyage of a dead man's soul who wanders through the streets of Tokyo. The idea was to create a slow hybrid mutating sound for the 'soul', which could be associated (unconsciously for the viewer) with movement and speed.
Are We Still Married?
In this animation, which I personally perceive as a dark transition from childhood to adulthood, I found the table-tennis ball to be the link between every aspect of its surreal narrative. Based on my understanding of the film, I decided to create the diegetic sound world from this particular object.
On Loop (Re-score)
This is Christine Hooper's humorous take on the thoughts one has when waking up in the middle of the night, with an amateur 'patchwork' visual approach. Being that the film worked so well without music, the difficulty was to compose something without diverting the viewer's attention off the character's brilliantly funny inner-speech, and making it in a way that the music would actually emphasise its natural humour.
